Douglas, My great uncle was Chief Engineer at Flight Test for NAA until retirement in 1970. He had some great stories about this plane. He gave me a couple original color 11x14s of this plane that I had hanging in my room all during my school years. It was one of my favorites probably because of the unique design and I love those factory paint schemes of the early jet age. This painting is inspiring work! :-)
Douglas Castleman replied:
Thank you, Ken. I agree with you why this jet is a favorite, and I would have liked to hear those stories, but at least I have a great collection of films of the 107 on DVD.
