Artist

Medium
Drawing - Graphite Pencil On Paper
Description
12" x 16" graphite pencils on Bristol drawing paper. This is the most produced warplane in United States history, and for awhile, one bomber per hour was being produced at one factory alone. This was at the Ford Willow Run factory, and Henry Ford's son, Edsel, was largely responsible for that unmatched feat. This example is a B-24G of the 450th BG, "Cottontails," 15th AF, Italy, 1944.
