About Douglas Castleman

Douglas, I have been scrolling through your galleries. What a gift you have! I liked everything I saw, but I love this one. I love Autumn, and your brush has perfectly captured the colors, warmth and beauty of the season. That path meanders so lazily along the curve of the fence to the inviting home in the distance. I want to live there!

Thank you, Karen, I appreciate that. I did those trees with the old splatter technique using lots of masks. Messy, but fun and effective. I was lucky enough to sell this original right away.
